The journey begins in Gelephu and continues toward Punakha through scenic mountain roads, forested hills, river valleys, and peaceful countryside landscapes. The route then continues to Thimphu, where cultural landmarks and the calm rhythm of the capital reveal another side of Bhutan’s living heritage. From Thimphu, the journey moves to Paro, a peaceful valley known for sacred sites, historic architecture, traditional homes, and beautiful Himalayan scenery. Paro offers a graceful cultural experience through temples, dzongs, viewpoints, and relaxed local discovery. The final day returns from Paro to Gelephu through changing landscapes and quiet mountain roads. Day 1 :

Arrival in Phuntsholing

Arrive in Phuentsholing, Bhutan’s main gateway from India. After completing the entry formalities, meet your guide and transfer to the hotel. Later, visit the Amo Chhu bridge and riverside area and spend some time exploring Phuentsholing town. The evening is free to relax or visit the local market. Overnight: Phuntsholing

Day 2 :

Phuntsholing - Paro

After breakfast, drive from Phuentsholing to Paro through the changing landscapes of southern and western Bhutan. The road passes through forested mountains, small settlements and river valleys. Upon arrival in Paro, visit Rinpung Dzong, overlooking the Paro Valley and Paro Chhu River. Depending on available time, visit Kyichu Lhakhang and explore Paro town in the evening. Overnight: Paro

Day 3 :

Paro - Thimphu

After breakfast, drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital. Visit Kuensel Phodrang, home to the impressive Buddha Dordenma overlooking the valley. Continue to the Memorial Chorten, Motithang Takin Preserve and other places of interest. Later, visit Tashichho Dzong, an important religious and administrative landmark. Spend the evening walking around Thimphu town and browsing local shops. Overnight: Thimphu

Day 4 :

Thimphu - Punakha

After breakfast, drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass, where 108 chortens stand against a beautiful mountain backdrop. On clear days, the pass offers views of Bhutan’s Himalayan peaks. Continue to Punakha and visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, situated at the meeting point of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Later, visit the Punakha Suspension Bridge and enjoy the peaceful valley surroundings. Overnight: Punakha

Day 5 :

Punakha - Gelephu

fter breakfast, begin the drive south towards Gelephu. The journey passes through mountain roads, forests, valleys and rural settlements, with the landscape gradually changing as you approach southern Bhutan. Stop at suitable locations for refreshments and photographs along the way. Upon arrival in Gelephu, check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening in the town. Overnight: Gelephu

Day 6 :

Gelephu - Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and prepare for your onward journey. Your guide and driver will assist with the necessary departure arrangements and transfer you to the departure point in Gelephu.
