Phurba Dorji Tamang is a travel professional with more than fifteen years of experience in tour planning, destination guiding, and travel management across Bhutan and the Himalayan region.
His journey in tourism began with professional training in tour and travel office management at a reputed company in Bhutan. Over the years, he has developed strong experience in itinerary planning, guest coordination, tour operations, hotel arrangements, transportation flow, and on-ground travel support.
He has guided travelers from around the world through Bhutan, Nepal, India, and Tibet, helping them experience the region’s rich culture, peaceful monasteries, colorful festivals, traditional villages, natural landscapes, and Himalayan way of life.
Phurba has also guided different trekking routes, from moderate trails to more challenging journeys through forests, valleys, rivers, mountain streams, and remote landscapes. These experiences have helped him design travel programs that are practical, comfortable, and meaningful for different types of guests.
For Phurba, travel is not only about visiting places. It is about creating a smooth and memorable journey where guests feel welcomed, informed, safe, and connected to the destination.

Budha Gurung is a travel and tourism professional with nearly two decades of experience in tour operations, destination guiding, trekking programs, and guest experience management across Bhutan and the Himalayan region.
His passion for culture, meeting people from around the world, and sharing Bhutan’s unique heritage led him to build his career in travel and tourism. Over the years, he has guided solo travelers, small groups, and large tour groups through Bhutan’s cultural sites, peaceful valleys, remote Himalayan trails, and trekking routes.
Before joining Rays Holiday as COO & Partner, Budha gained extensive experience with several well-known travel companies, including Wind Horse, Inter Trek, Bhutan Tourism Corporation, Mandala, and Dragon Trekkers. His work with Dragon Trekkers helped him strengthen his experience in tour operations, team coordination, and travel management.
Budha is also the founder of Bhutan Depth Tours, which has now been merged under Rays Holiday. Tour operations connected to Bhutan Depth Tours are now managed and operated through Rays Holiday with the support of an experienced team from Bhutan, Nepal, and the USA.
In addition to English-speaking tours, Budha also received Mandarin language training in 2014–2015 and has guided several Mandarin-speaking groups in Bhutan.
At Rays Holiday, Budha oversees company operations, supports tour planning, leads travel groups, and helps ensure that every guest enjoys a smooth, comfortable, and memorable journey in the Land of the Thunder Dragon.
