Bhutan is a small Himalayan country known for its Buddhist heritage, traditional architecture, mountain landscapes and distinct way of life. This fly-in, fly-out journey through Paro International Airport covers Thimphu, the capital city, and the peaceful Paro Valley. Visit important landmarks including Buddha Dordenma, Tashichho Dzong, Rinpung Dzong and Kyichu Lhakhang, with time for the Tiger’s Nest Monastery hike. The itinerary provides a balanced introduction to Bhutan’s culture, history, religious traditions and everyday life.

Day 1 :

Arrival in Thimphu via Paro

Arrive at Paro International Airport, where your guide will welcome you. Drive to Thimphu and check into your hotel. Depending on arrival time, visit Memorial Chorten and explore Thimphu town and local markets. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 2 :

Thimphu sightseeing

After breakfast, visit Buddha Dordenma at Kuensel Phodrang, Motithang Takin Preserve and other places of interest. Later, visit Tashichho Dzong, an important religious and administrative landmark. Spend the evening at leisure in Thimphu. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 3 :

Thimphu - Paro

After breakfast, drive to Paro through the Wang Chhu and Paro Chhu valleys. Visit Rinpung Dzong and Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples. Later, explore Paro town and its local shops. Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 4 :

The Tiger's Nest

After an early breakfast, hike to Taktsang Monastery, popularly known as Tiger’s Nest. Located on a cliff above Paro Valley, it is one of Bhutan’s most important religious sites. After the hike, return to Paro and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 5 :

Departure Flight

After breakfast, transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward flight. Your guide and driver will assist with the departure arrangements and bid you farewell.
